Project Engineer Nuclear Pressure Equipment (M/F/X)


As a Project Engineer (M/F/X) in the Nuclear Pressure Equipment team, you will work within the Energy & Process Industries (EPI) Business Unit. EPI supports its customers in the energy and process industries, offering advanced solutions and advice from experienced specialists. Monitoring/supervision (checking conformity with standards and regulations) of construction and inspection activities performed on pressure equipment specifically on a high-end project in the nuclear business located in the South of France. You will be supported by senior on-site colleagues that will coach you on the job.

This involves :

  • Carrying out regulatory inspections of pressure equipment (ESPN), during manufacture in the nuclear sector.
  • Supervising the performance of welding activities and NDT inspections presented by the service providers of the project.
  • Verification of the (non-destructive) testing and welding reports drawn up by the service providers

  • Have an engineering degree and a first experience in non-destructive testing and welding.
  • Fluent in French and English, Dutch is a plus or you plan to learn it soon.
  • If you already have experience in the nuclear sector, in particular with follow-up of manufacturing activities, this is also a considerable advantage.
  • If you have experience and knwoledge of the applicable codes PED, ESPN, RCC-MR, RCC-M, … this is seen as a strong plus.
  • Have excellent analytical skills, are pragmatic and able to manage stressful situations.
  • Team-player, customer-oriented and able to communicate openly with your superiors and third parties.
  • Mobility for traveling in the South of France for an extended stay ( project requirements estimated for 1.5 year).
