Procurement Quality Manager


bpostgroup operates in a complex environment which is constantly changing and provides both risks and opportunities. New directives related to non-financial reporting create new needs, as well as opportunities to better work with suppliers, leveraging their insights to provide end-to-end analyses on risk, sustainability and compliance.

That is why we are looking for a Quality Manager in the bpost Procurement Team. The Procurement team, also known as the Source-2-Pay team, is accountable for all supplier-related processes, from vendor selection to contract management, over ordering and account payables. High-quality sourcing processes that are in line with all regulations, are a cornerstone to ensure bpost's risks are mimized.

Your Mission

You will be part of the Center of Excellence in Procurement and get the support and mentoring you need to succeed. In your role you will be able to liaise with many corporate stakeholders (IT, Legal, Compliance, Risk, …) on all levels in the bpostgroup organization.

You are a strategic thinker with an appetite for change management. You have experience in public procurement, and/or a background in audit, compliance, risk management. You are patient but persistent and have a strong ethical compass.


In your role you will :

  • Define and execute innovative continuous improvement actions with the goal of ensuring Procurement Quality in a constantly evolving environment.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive metrics aligned with current processes, reporting needs and industry standards ;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality considerations are integrated into business processes and initiatives ;
  • Design and deliver effective training programs to enhance awareness and understanding of procurement requirements throughout the bpostgroup ;
  • Interact and build trust with stakeholders within Procurement and other corporate departments ( Finance, Risk Management, Sustainability, Internal Audit,…)

The ideal candidate has:

  • A master degree
  • at least 5 years experience in Procurement, Sourcing, Procure-to-Pay, Functional Analyst, Regulatory, Quality or Compliance role
  • experience in leveraging technological solutions to address practical challenges
  • strong communication skills, i.e. for highlighting improvement opportunities and proposing solutions to senior management
  • a good ​business acumen partnered with attention for details
  • an interest in process mapping & process improvements
  • the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment ;
  • strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage your workload
  • the ability to engage and influence different type of stakeholders at different levels in the organization
  • the ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and at least Dutch or French​
