Biostatistical Analyst

SGS Life Sciences carries out all type of services for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, from coordination and running of clinical trials with new molecules or techniques on human beings, to support and consultancy on post marketing registration activities. SGS Life Sciences has also expertise in the quality control of pharmaceuticals.

In the spirit of continued growth and to help improve our business, we are currently looking for a Biostatistical Analyst


As Biostatistical Analyst you will be responsible for:

  • Development of analysis datasets (CDISC ADaM format) via SAS programming
  • Development of analysis tables, listings and figures via SAS programming
  • Implementation of CDISC standards in clinical trials
  • Quality control of project deliverables
  • Creation of the Statistical Analysis Plan and mock TLFs for Phase I studies
  • Production and optimization of system tools and macros

What do you need to be successful?

  • Bachelor/Master in IT or master's in sciences (biomedical, biology, pharmacy, …) with affinity for programming
  • Knowledge of SAS (BASE-STAT-GRAPH-macros-…) is a plus. Additional training can be provided
  • You have good communication skills
  • You have an excellent knowledge of English. Knowledge of Dutch is an asset
  • You are a well-organised colleague with an analytical mind
  • You're eager to learn new things
  • You want to work in a young and dynamic group of clinical programmers and statisticians
  • Any relevant job experience is an asset
