General information with respect to the assignment:

The organization of the PTRS Partners Island has been divided into three main packages, i.e.:

• Marine Works
• Civil Works
• Third-Party Engineering

Our partner is currently looking to strengthen its island team with a Project Engineer for the follow-up and coordination of the activities associated with the Third-Party Engineering package.

This package is responsible for the management of the third parties that will perform the independent verification (calculations, reviews, etc.) and quality control (audits and inspections) of the design and construction of the Princess Elisabeth Island.

• Works in a multidisciplinary team together with the Island Package Manager, (lead) engineers, experts and other stakeholders.
• Provides support during all phases of the project, specifically focussing on :
  • Coordination of interfaces between different third parties (Marine Warranty Surveyor, Certification Authority, Owner's Engineer), our partner and its Contractors, ensuring timely delivery of required information
  • Coordination and follow-up of activities related to the third parties (performance of independent calculations, document reviews, site inspections, verification and approvals)
  • Ensuring that the necessary verification reports and certificates of approvals are obtained from relevant parties
  • Identification and follow-up of risks related to the design and construction of the Princess Elisabeth Island
  • Preparation and presentation of monthly status updates of the different third parties.
  • Provide additional support to the quality officer with the quality follow up during construction and offshore installation

• You have at least ⚠ years of relevant working experience on multi-disciplinary and complex projects in the field of marine, dredging or offshore engineering
• You have experience in a coordinating role of projects, vessel activities, construction sites or others
• Experience in QA/QC in the offshore sector is a plus
• You are an excellent communicator
• You are working structured, independent and precise
• You are responsible, take ownership and make yourself accountable
• Education: Civil, Electromechanical or Coastal Engineer (Master)
• You are a quick learner, a team player and highly motivated to be part of an exciting offshore wind project!
• Fluent in English
• French or Dutch is a plus
