This pivotal role will contribute significantly to our ongoing mission to redefine industry standards in process automation.

In this role, your technical prowess and interpersonal skills will be highly valued. You'll spearhead key investment projects, conduct technical investigations, and champion developments that uphold our commitment to safety above all else.

Your key responsibilities will be:
* Promoting digitalization and innovative thinking to deliver "fit for purpose" solutions that add tangible business value.
* Leading initiatives to enhance Borealis' engineering specifications, ensuring safe and cost-effective automation implementation.
* Taking the lead on projects and troubleshooting/incident investigations within Borealis and for our esteemed licensees.
* Providing vital support to key investment projects with your expertise in process automation.
You're the perfect fit if you bring 10 years of hands-on experience in automation and continuous control, with at least 4 years dedicated to the petrochemical/polymer/process industry and investment projects. Armed with a Master of Science in Engineering or equivalent qualification, you possess comprehensive technical expertise across various domains, including process automation systems (ESD/DCS/PLC), industrial IT, functional safety engineering/management, process control & tuning, and project management.

As an individual, you excel in driving initiatives and achieving objectives. Your track record demonstrates your ability to thrive in virtual teams spanning different nationalities and cultures. Building strong work relationships comes naturally to you, and you possess the unique ability to generate enthusiasm and secure buy-in for your field of expertise. You relish the opportunity for regular business travel and eagerly embrace international assignments on a global scale. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, completes your profile.
