Procurement Manager

As a Procurement Manager you will be driving strategic initiatives, managing compliance and risk, and optimizing costs for our client.

You will:

• Conduct cost-reduction projects, utilizing TCO analysis and market trend assessments.

• Collaborate closely with sales and R&D teams to align procurement strategies with market needs.

• Manage spot and long-term contracts with suppliers worldwide.

• Source new suppliers and evaluate alternative materials, ensuring continuous improvement in quality and cost-effectiveness.

• You are a proactive individual with strong stakeholder management skills.

• You are familiar with SAP and have experience in both sourcing and strategic procurement management.

• A bachelors or masters degree in Engineering, Economics or Supply Chain, with expertise in chemical/pharma procurement is a must.

• You are comfortable managing complexity and a high volume of projects within a small team environment.

• Experience in procurement software tools like Coupa or other tendering platforms is a big plus.

• You have excellent communication skills and are fluent in English; additional language skills considered a plus.

• You are located in Belgium and you hold a valid working permit.
