Customer Care Engineer

Functie

As a Customer Care Engineer, you are responsible for handling all incoming complaints . In concrete terms, this means: you log the customer's complaint and make an initial analysis of the complaint based on the information obtained. You also make an estimate of the actions to be taken in order to help the customer as soon as possible.

You coordinate - wherever necessary – colleagues; these are the problem owners and/or colleagues in the related departments (Service, Back-office, Quality, R&D…).

Of crucial importance is excellent communication internally and externally (customers).

An in-depth investigation to determine the cause may be necessary. Depending on the importance of the claim, it will be performed through damage analyses, materials research, 3D simulations, calculations, etc. Additional coordination of external experts may be required.

Finally, you will put forward a solution report and recommendations as a basis for actions that will avoid an issue's recurrence in the future.

Your profile

  • Do you have a master's degree in Engineering or Science and have you already had some relevant work experience?
  • Are you someone who likes to get stuck in a problem and can come to a goal-oriented solution ?
  • Are you solution-oriented and have smooth communication skills , even under challenging circumstances?
  • Do you speak and write fluent English and Dutch or are you willing to learn Dutch? (Additional language skills such as French, German and/or Spanish is an advantage but not mandatory)
  • Are you a true team player ?
  • Are you accurate, dynamic, stress-resistant and customer-oriented ?
  • Technische problemen en vereisten van de klant analyseren
  • Klanten informeren over de opgemerkte technische problemen, aan te brengen wijzigingen en uit te voeren herstellingen
  • De tussenkomsten van de teams en de bijstand aan klanten organiseren en controleren
  • Domein: Mechanica
  • Complexe technische problemen overmaken aan specialisten (studies, onderzoek, onderhoud, ...)
  • Databanken met vragen, antwoorden, kennis en technische oplossingen uit het verleden actualiseren
  • Technisch opvolgen van de producten en hun ontwikkeling bij de klanten
  • De oplossingen en technische aanbevelingen bepalen en aan de klanten meedelen
  • Technische documentatie opstellen en ter beschikking van de klanten stellen
  • Een ondersteunende dienst superviseren
