What you can expect from our trainee program

IT at DZ BANK offers you a wide range of opportunities. Our tasks range from development with Java or C++ to data engineering, application management, system administration, IT security and project management. DevOps, Continuous Integration, SAP HANA, Blockchain or Infrastructure as Code (IaC) are waiting for you.

You will work in several projects and line teams and gain a broad overview of our modern IT. In collaboration with the specialist departments, you will design processes and systems ergonomically and in a time-conscious manner.

In the 12-month trainee program in IT with an individual schedule, you will work in various units of the IT department and interface areas. Depending on your focus, you will have the opportunity to work at a company in the DZ BANK Group.

What you need for our trainee program

• You have successfully completed a full-time Master's degree (grade 2.5 or better) in the fields of computer science, engineering or natural sciences.
• With your knowledge of a modern programming language, you can read source code to understand and further develop the DNA of IT.
• You can communicate well in German to at least C1 level, both orally and in writing.
• Your enthusiasm for modern project and development methods and innovative application-oriented technologies helps you to familiarize yourself with new topics.
• With your experience from internships or training, you are familiar with activities in development, application management, system administration or project management.
• You find it easy to integrate into changing teams and support them with your skills.

• Prospects: You will start with a permanent contract and a salary of EUR 64,000 during and EUR 69,000 after the trainee program.
