About the job:

We are looking for a motivated Scientist with experience in Liquid Chromatography, Gas Chromatography, and knowledge of Small Molecule Pharmaceuticals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning and coordination of analytical experimental work to support assigned projects. This includes method development, validation, transfer, titrations, and certification of reference standards.

As an ALTEN consultant, you will have the opportunity to be part of the following activities:

• Manage multiple projects and tasks, establishing priorities in alignment with project requirements and agreed timelines.
• Proactively inform supervisors about potential technical or scientific challenges, risks, and resource conflicts.
• Review, interpret, and report analytical data accurately and efficiently.
• Write and approve Certificates of Analysis, reports, and protocols.
• Ensure compliance with applicable guidelines, established operating procedures, and safety regulations, adhering to company work standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in chromatographic (UHPLC, HPLC and GC) method development- validation and relevant experience in Non chrom tests like titrations.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in science or engineering.
• Experience in a GMP (lab) environment.
• Knowledge of Small Molecule Pharmaceuticals and APIs.
• Technical proficiency in data handling systems (i.e. Empower, Waters).
• Knowledge and experience in analytical report writing using electronic document management systems.
• Full on site availability – Antwerp.
