PROGRAMME MANAGER FINANCE (80%)

Vlerick is a school, but it is run as a business, aligned with the high standards we foster in our different programmes. We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven programme manager to join our open executive education team.

As programme manager you run a portfolio of executive education programmes. As programme manager you are end-responsible for meeting the targets of each programmes in terms of revenues and quality of the experience. You align with the different stakeholders involved in your programmes: marketing, faculty, our learning hub and administrative team. You have an important role representing Vlerick Business School and take an active role in delivering a high-quality experience to our participants.

The job

• Take ownership for a selection of open executive education programmes in the domain of finance and accounting (and potentially others) in terms of sales & marketing, programme design and delivery, together with faculty and other supporting units (catering, operations, administration).
• Meet the targets of your programmes in terms of revenues, and quality of the experience.

• Follow up on commercial activities (opportunities and leads, programme advice, networking activities, …), securing participants for your programmes with the support of our marketing team.
• Build a strong internal and external network by regularly attending relevant network events and by maintaining a close relationship with your faculty, participants and alumni.
• Take care of the delivery of +/- 25 days of open executive education programmes. Provide programme participants with a warm Vlerick learning experience; professionally welcoming, supporting & guiding them during their time on campus and/or online.
• Support colleagues with go-to-market research, customer calls and other small size projects.
• You will be supported by a senior product manager who will coach you in your role and activities.

You

• A background in economics or finance is a big plus.
• Have a first work experience, preferably in a customer centric environment or in the finance field.
• Possess networking and sales skills. You can connect with different stakeholders and are ready to be a credible advisor for (senior) executives.
• Get energized from going the extra mile for customers and are a star at solving problems with a smile.
• Have excellent communication skills in English and Dutch, both verbally and written.
• You are tech-savvy.
• Have an entrepreneurial spirit and can-do attitude.
• Are flexible and can adapt quickly to new situations.
